How do I submit a request form and how long will it take?

Submitting a Form

• The specific process for finding the reports you need will differ based on the service you use. Regardless, we need either an example report or a report from previous exports from your tool or dialer to successfully upload your data.
  
  

• For ThruTalk, generating your reports is simple:

  • On your ThruTalk admin page, click “reporting setting”

• From there, you can add your email (and others) to receive nightly reports. They typically arrive in inboxes around 11:30 pm central.

• Once you have generated a report, fill out the Bulk Uploads Request form

• Include the survey questions you need data uploaded into or mapped:

  • Please go column-by-column to indicate how questions in your script should map back to your survey questions in VAN. This needs to be in order.

  • Because we do not have access to your script, if the headers are “question 1” and “question 2,” we won’t know what question you asked unless you indicate how it should be mapped.

• Attach reports or a prior export example containing the following information:

  • Individual call results report (first link).

  • Script results report (second link).

Hearing Back

• Once you submit a form, we will create the mapping template within 48 hours. 

• Please do not submit a follow-up if the 48 hours has not elapsed, we are generally not able to expedite this process.

How do I use TDP mapping templates to upload it myself?

• Look up and select “Saved Mapping Templates” in the sidebar menu 

• You should see these two saved templates: ThruTalk canvass results, and ThruTalk script results. If you don’t see them, inform TDP by sending a help ticket at txdem.co/van-help. Shown below is an example for mapping templates created for ThruTalk and ThruText data:

• Select the appropriate template depending on what it is that you are uploading, in this example, we will be loading script results.

• After selecting the correct template, you should be brought to the Bulk Upload page (visit txdem.co/bulk-upload for more information on Bulk Upload). 

• Select the appropriate file, then click “Upload”.
