[IF UNDECIDED] I understand -- who you vote for is a huge decision, and there is a lot on the line this year. I’m supporting Democrats because … [state why you’re voting for Democrats. Some examples: they’ll support our teachers, they'll fix our power grid, they'll pass common-sense gun safety legislation, or they’ll protect our parks and fix our roads]
Do you have any questions about what Democrats are fighting for? [answer questions to the best of your ability]
Thanks for your time today, it was nice talking to you. Have a great rest of your day!
[IF REPUBLICAN] I understand, thanks for letting me know. It was nice talking to you. Have a great rest of your day!
[IF DEMOCRAT] Awesome! Glad to hear that we can count on you. One of the most important things you can do to prepare to vote is make a plan to vote.
What is your plan to vote in the upcoming election?

[IF UNSURE/NO PLAN] Not a problem. The most important thing to consider right now is if you’ll be voting by MAIL, EARLY in-person, or on ELECTION DAY. Which option works best for you?
[mark vote plan in Survey Question above, or move to Vol Ask if still not sure].
[IF EV] Awesome! Early voting is a great option. You can go to MyTexasVotes.com to find your nearest early vote location. Locations change year to year so I suggest checking there before you go vote. I can repeat the website if you’d like to write it down.
[IF EDAY] I'm glad to hear you're planning to vote! If you're able, we strongly recommend that folks vote early -- this ensures that if something comes up on Election Day, you've already had a chance to vote. Plus there are usually no lines! Early voting lasts two weeks from February 17 to February 27. What do you think?
You can go to MyTexasVotes.com to find your polling location. I can repeat the website if you'd like to write it down.
[IF VBM] It’s a little late to request a mail ballot, so if you’re able to get to a polling place in person, that’s probably the best option. If you’re physically unable to go into the polling place itself, you can vote from a vehicle.
If you need a ride or your only option is to vote by mail, you can call the Texas Democratic Party’s Voter Assistance Hotline for additional help at 844-TX-VOTES (844-898-6837).
Can we invite you to volunteer opportunities for this campaign?

[IF VOL NO] I understand. We’ll reach out down the line and see if you’re interested. In the meantime, you can visit https://www.mobilize.us/texasdemocrats/ to find community or volunteer events near you.

Hi, my name is _____, and I’m a volunteer with ________ . Is _____ available?
I'm talking with voters like you today because there are less than two weeks until Election Day. In fact, I’ve already spoken with a lot of Democrats in your neighborhood today and it’s exciting to see how many of them will be voting this year. With early voting happening now, a lot of us are planning where and when we’ll be voting.

[IF DEMOCRAT] Awesome! Glad to hear that we can count on you. Early Voting starts October 19 and Election Day is November 3. Here is a reminder you can put on your fridge.
[IF UNDECIDED] I understand -- who you vote for is a huge decision, and there is a lot on the line this year. I'm supporting Democrats because we need common-sense gun safety legislation so parents don't have to worry every time they send their child to school. We need to put people over corporations, and work to fix the grid so we never have another collapse again. We need to ensure that every child in this state has access to quality, affordable childcare and education.
We need as many Democrats in the congress, the legislature and here locally to support our plans to build a better Texas.
